Tanya Skinner is a freelance Make-Up Artist specialising in Fashion and Media Make-Up. She trained in 2009 with The Jackie Hamilton School of Beauty and has undergone theoretical and practical training in Make-Up and attained the high standard demanded by ITEC. She studied Beauty Therapy in 2009 at City College Norwich. Upon leaving college Tanya worked part-time at Jarrolds Norwich for the prestigious company Molton Brown Ltd. n 2010 she was entered in The Young Achiever of the Year award in association with The Prince's Trust, and was in the final 3 for The East of England. The Trust supported Tanya, by giving her a Development Award, which changed her life and allowed her to build a career for herself and her young daughter.
She has been teaching assistanting in practical classes for Level 2 Make-Up at The Jackie Hamilton School of Beauty.
She designs her own high fashion styles and like to interpret influences from different cultures and eras. She works in and around the Norwich and Norfolk area. She is very passionate about arts as a whole, this combined with changing somebody's mood, giving them confidence and making them smile is one of the most rewarding aspects of her career as a Make-Up Artist!
She has experience in Films, Television, Advertising Adverts, Magazines, Newspapers, Extras for short films, Runner including set change and lighting and sound, Photographic styles, Fashion Shows and various other productions.
From the comfort of your home she offers a professional and caring service and natural looking Make-Up designs tailored for each individual client and they're needs and expectations. She also provide private tutorials so you too can keep up to date and create that must have look, or for first time learners begin to explore the world of Make-Up and find the best products, colours and styles to use.
