Erika Medina was born in Hawaiian Gardens, California on January 1, 1985.
Her life long dream was to become a model and actress. Since the age of 4, she would
snag her mothers magazines to look at the models in them and would also imitate the
characters she would see on TV. Her modeling career started in 2006 when a friend dared
Erika to make her dreams come true by sending out some photos of herself to magazines.
Half-jokingly, Erika took the dare, submitting a handful of snapshots taken in her home
to FHM magazine, one of the leading men's magazines. Three months later, Erika made
her modeling debut in FHMs July 2006 issue.
A true overnight success, Erika knew an amazing opportunity had presented itself. She
quit her day job and found herself a manager. Since then, modeling and acting have
been Erikas full time pursuits, and her dedication has been matched only by her rapidly
expanding list of accomplishments. This includes magazine spreads with FHM, Maxim
Espanol and many others. Her acting resume includes several appearances on television
productions such as, Hannah Montana on Disney Channel, How I Met Your Mother on
CBS, iCarly on Nickelodeon, 90210 on The CW and music videos with Pitbull, Chris
Brown, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West along with many other recording artist. Her
smoldering good looks also landed her a spokes modeling contract with Monster Energy
Drink.
When she isnt performing or posing for the camera, Erika loves spending time with her
family in Anaheim. She also enjoys regular acting classes, going out to movies, cosmic
bowling and dancing with her friends. With only a few years of experience under her 24
belt, Erika has become one of the most sought after new actress/models in the industry.
She is consistently praised for her stunning, exotic-yet-commercial appearance, and also
for her down-to-earth personality and charming charisma.
