Cydney is a professional make-up and hair artist who does freelance work. Her favorite part of the make-up artistry is assessing each clients individual needs, the imperfections they may feel self conscience about, and the tone of the event, then integrating these factors into a flawless look customized for each individual. A simple enhancement or a complete transformation, every client is an opportunity to create the desired vision for their special moment.

Cydney was born and raised near San Diego, California. Her passion for make-up started at an early age; she would play and experiment with different looks all hours of the day. Her mom was an early influence; she would do make-up for special occasions and costumes for friends and family. Cydney would watch and pester her mother to show her techniques and how to choose colors for different skin types and peoples ages. It wasnt long before she was testing her skills on her family, friends or anyone who would sit for her. In high school she did theater make-up for four years combining beauty techniques as well as special effects and era related make-up. In addition to theater make-up, she was the go-to person, for her friends at church and a variety of high schools for all special occasions including homecoming, proms, graduations, and award ceremonies. During her senior year of high school she began to do weddings and photo shoots as a hobby.

After graduation she decided to turn her passion for make-up into a career. She attended MUD (Make-Up Designory), in Burbank, California, the most prestigious make-up school in the professional industry. In November of 2010, she became a certified make-up artist (MUA) through MUD. Her training has prepared her for fashion and glamour make-up, air-brushing, high definition camera work, special effects, specialized photography, theatrical make-up, and hair design, as well as specific looks for eras and themes. Cydney will continue to attend workshops and trade show demonstrations educating herself on the latest color palettes, techniques and equipment. She looks forward to sharpening her skills in camouflage make-up to help people deal with permanent scars or coloring issues.
